Project Details

The mission of Outside The Margins is to get people to think beyond the stereotypes of the refugee and more critically about our shared humanity by addressing one of the most pressing issues in the world today: the global crisis of displacement.  We accomplish this by showing how different events and processes are interconnected and therein address the fundamental concepts on which global structures around the world are built. Outside The Margins coordinates solutions to alleviate the trauma of displacement by using art as a medium to communicate shared humanity and the value of cultural diversity.
